First Baptist Preschool stands with the family in shaping lives through nurturing each child with a developmentally appropriate Christ-centered education.

It is primarily the responsibility of parents to guide their children through the various stages of growth and development to becoming an independent, self-sufficient adult. First Baptist Preschool has been established to assist you in meeting this God-given responsibility. We shall attempt to acquaint each child with a world that lies beyond home, widen his/her background, introduce new and meaningful personal relationships, and provide a broader base for later learning experiences and social relationships.

It is the purpose of First Baptist Preschool to offer a loving, accepting, Christian environment in which young children can develop to their fullest potential spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and creatively. We believe each child is a unique creation of God and as such should be treated with love and respect. We will encourage creative learning and self-expression; increase independence, problem solving and love for oneself, other people, and Jesus. No attempt will be made to convert any child to Baptist; however, the Preschool strives to impart basic Christian attitudes in an atmosphere of forgiveness and love.

First Baptist Preschool is an outreach program of First Baptist Church and, therefore, sponsored by the same. It is governed by the Church Council, with the Director of First Baptist Preschool giving overall supervision, and qualified teachers staffing the daily operations.
